Malayalam actor Dileep is currently busy with the shooting of comedy entertainer Georgettan's Pooram in Kerala's Thrissur district. The makers of the movie have revealed that its first-look poster will be unveiled on the comedian's birthday as a treat to his ardent fans.
Dileep is set to celebrate his 48th birthday on October 27 and audience are eagerly awaiting the release of the actor's look in the movie, which is rumoured to be made on a whopping budget of Rs 10 crore.
Helmed by K Biju, the Dileep-starrer has been penned by YV Rajesh and is being co-produced by Arun Gosh, Bijoy Chandran and Shivanee Suraj under the banner of Shivani Entertainments in association with Chandni Creations. The movie stars Anuraga Karikkin Vellam-fame Rajisha Vijayan opposite the Janapriyanayakan.
Georgettan's Pooram also has Aju Varghese, Sharafudheen, Vinay Forrt, Renji Panicker, Jayaraj Warrier, Chemban Vinod Jose, T G Ravi, Sunil Sukhada and Malavika Nair in significant roles. The comedy entertainer is set to hit the screens as a Christmas release. The Dileep-starrer will be locking horns against many biggies, including Mammootty's The Great Father, Mohanlal's Munthirivallikal Thalirkumbol and Prithviraj Sukumaran's Ezra, which have been scheduled for release during the festive season.
Meanwhile, Dileep's previous release Welcome to Central Jail was opened to mixed response from the audience. The Sundar Dass directorial narrated the life of a few jail inmates in Poojapura Central Jail in Thiruvananthapuram and the comedian was seen opposite Vedhika in it.
Apart from Georgettan's Pooram, the actor has announced another movie, which is expected to hit the screens next year. The Rathish Ambat directorial has been titled Kammara Sambhavam and marks the debut of young star Siddharth in Malayalam.
