Moroccan-Canadian actress Nora Fatehi, whose item song 'Dilbar' from Satyameva Jayate broke several records for its YouTube views, has now been roped in for Salman Khan's next film Bharat.
The film, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, stars Priyanka Chopra paired opposite Salman and Disha Patani, who essays the role of a trapeze artist.
According to Nora's publicist, the 26-year-old actress will soon be joining the cast of Bharat to play the role of a Latin woman. The plot of the movie will span across many decades and Nora will be seen playing a part in the mid-1980s portion of the film.
Nora, who has been praised for her dance numbers in several Bollywood and South Indian films, has grabbed eyeballs for her latest hit track Dilbar. Nora had also shown her acting chops in Sameer Soni's thriller film My Birthday Song. This time, Nora will be cast in Salman's new film, which is the Hindi remake of the 2014 South Korean film Ode to My Father.
While expressing her excitement in working with Salman, she said, "(I'm) excited to be a part of the project of this magnitude. It's a dream come true! The team is impeccable and the combination of Ali sir and Salman sir is perfect. For me, these were reasons good enough to willingly come on board. Looking forward to starting the shoot soon."
Zafar's previous directorial venture with Salman and Katrina Kaif in Tiger Zinda Hai proved to be a massive hit. Salman will now be shooting for Bharat during the same time his reality TV show Bigg Boss 12 starts from September.
Priyanka and Disha have already started prepping for their respective roles in Bharat. Disha has been training in trapeze and fire stunts while PeeCee was seen travelling back and forth from the US for her role. Priyanka has also begun her work on 'The sky is pink', co-starring Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim.
