'Dil Dhadakne Do': Meet Pluto, New Member of Mehra Family [PHOTOS]

Zoya Akhtar's much-anticipated multi-starrer film "Dil Dhadakne Do" is creating a tremendous buzz among fans.

After releasing the first look of the ensembled cast members Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar, Anushka Chopra and Anil Kapoor, the makers have now unveiled a series of posters introducing the entire family.

Anil, with salt and pepper look, plays the handsome, rich and powerful father Kamal Mehra in the film. His wife Neelam Mehra is played by stylish Shefali Shah.

Ranveer plays Kamal's son Kabir Mehra, while his sibling Priyanka is the classy entrepreneur Ayesha Mehra. 

According to a report in DNA, Ranveer plays a rich, spoilt brat whose love for planes makes him follow his dream of becoming a pilot. 

Anushka plays the gorgeous and talented Farah Ali, the love interest of Kabir. Farah is an ambituous girl who fled from her home to become a great dancer. 

The "Band Baaja Baaraat" couple will be sharing screen space for the first time post break-up.

Farhan looks handsome and charming in the poster and essays the role of Ayesha's boyfriend Sunny Gill.

The latest member introduced by the makers of the film is Pluto Mehra, the adorable dog of the Mehra family. The poster was shared by film trade analyst Taran Adarsh.

All in all, the characters look sauve, fresh and fashionable in the posters, increasing the curiosity among the fans who are eagerly waiting for the flick to release.

"Dil Dhadakne Do" revolves around a dysfunctional Punjabi family on a cruise trip. In the course of their vacation, they discover love and friendship.

Revealing more about the storyline, a source told the daily: "Despite having everything and being super rich, Kabir's relationship with his dad is strained because of their different ideals. While his father wants him to take over the family business, Kabir wants to become a pilot. Trapped in the dilemma, Kabir is caged and wants to escape but he can't."

"Then, he meets Farah, who's left her home for her love for dance and is a free bird. She has followed her dreams, ambitions and passion and epitomizes the person Kabir always wanted to be. It's only after meeting her and falling in love with her, Kabir attempts to escape from the situation he is in." the source further said.

The family drama has been extensively shot in Europe, including Spain, France and Italy. Some parts of the film have also been shot in Turkey and Tunisia.

"Dil Dhadakne Do" is Zoya Akhtar's next big directorial venture after the huge success of "Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara" (2011) and is set to hit the theatres on 5 June.
