Zoya Akhtar's latest film, "Dil Dhadakne Do", is continuing its strong run on weekdays. The domestic box-office collection till Tuesday has been steady and analysts predict that "DDD" is on its way to be a super hit.
According to trade analysts, the movie has collected ₹5.09 crore on its fifth day (9 June) at the Indian box office and the total collection of the movie has therefore reached ₹47.91 crore.
The film is expected to collect over ₹50 crore by Monday at the domestic box office.
Meanwhile, "Dil Dhadakne Do" has done well at the overseas box office as well. Despite mixed reviews, the film had a fabulous run overseas on its first weekend, making it the highest opening weekend grosser of 2015. The film had broken the record of Kangana Ranaut starrer "Tanu Weds Manu Returns".
According to Bollywood Hungama, "Dil Dhadakne Do" has collected $3.5 million [₹22.4 crore] in its opening weekend and has surpassed "Tanu Weds Manu Returns" that had collected $2.672 million [₹17 crore].

"Dil Dhadakne Do", which stars Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra, Anushka Sharma, Farhan Akhtar, Anil Kapoor and Shefali Shah in pivotal roles, was released in 2,300 screens across India.
The film was much appreciated for its technical qualities and with the latest box-office reports, it looks like Zoya Akhtar has managed another blockbuster hit.
Made with a budget of ₹85 crore, this multi-starrer is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under the banners of Junglee Pictures and Excel Entertainment.
