Trust Saif Ali Khan's eldest daughter Sara Ali Khan to be a firecracker and she never disappoints. It has barely been a few days since the trailer of her film Kedarnath released and the diva has started promoting her film; but little Ms Khan has already grabbed humongous headlines for her unfiltered, unabashed attitude.
We had seen in Karan Johar's 'Koffee With Karan' promo, how Sara had said that she would love to marry Ranbir Kapoor and date Kartik Aaryan. But, recently, when the actress was prodded on the subject by RJ Malishka, Sara denied it completely.
"You know I wanted to marry Ranbir really long ago and then my father said that on the show. And then I didn't want to be like 'not anymore' because that's rude, right? How do you say that? You know people change their minds and we all know that, right?" Sara said.
At this point, bursting into laughter, Malishka asked her, "And Alia dost bhi to hogi?" To which, surprisingly, Sara said, "Nahi yaar.. vo baat nahi hai. Vo to chalta hai aaj kal na.."
Whoa! That's another killer statement by the Amrita Singh's daughter. On the work front, Sara's 'Kedarnath' would be released early next month opposite Sushant Singh Rajput. Post which, the diva would be seen in 'Simmba' along with Ranveer Singh, directed by Rohit Shetty.
It has been reported that 'Simmba' had earlier been offered to Jhanvi Kapoor but due to her breaching the confidentiality agreement, she lost out onto the project.
Talking about comparisons with Jhanvi, Sara had said that they both are friends and she doesn't want to see her as anything apart from a friend. She also added that she was awestruck by her performance in 'Dhadak' and it's good to see newcomers performing so well.
