Bollywood's most glamorous face Kareena Kapoor has reportedly turned down an on-screen lip lock with fellow actor Emraan Hashmi in their upcoming flick.
According to reports, the Begum of Patudi has put up a strict 'no-kiss' rule after tying the knot to Saif Ali Khan last year.
Kareena will be cast opposite Emraan in "Badtameez Dil", an edgy romantic flick which will be jointly produced by Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Motion Picture and Karan Johar's Dharma Productions.
The producers were initially keen to incorporate a kissing scene in the film to which Kareena straight away refused.
Emraan is well known for his mastery at bold scenes since the beginning of his career and as for Kareena, she had consented to do some intimate scenes with Arjun Rampal in Madhur Bhandarkar's "Heroine". Hence, the producers had decided to include kissing scenes until she cleared her stand about her new policy.
Initial reports had suggested that Bebo had given her consent to an explicit love-making scene for the film after producer Ekta pointed out its significance in the script. The actress was believed to have agreed to be a part of it based on her professional commitment, but has now refused considering her marital status.
The 32-year-old actress had shot several kissing scenes in the past. Some of her on-screen kissers include Fradeen Kahn in "Dev", Akshay Kumar in "Tashan", Aamir Khan in "3 Idiots", ex-beau Shahid Kapoor in "Jab We Met" and even her husband Saif Ali Khan in the dark thriller "Qurbaan".
