Australian rapper Iggy Azalea recently received threatening messages from online hackers, who said that they would release a sex tape of the singer if she failed to apologise to Azealia Banks.
Iggy and Banks have been entangled in a feud for the last few months and both the rappers recently had a war of words on Twitter, reported Telegraph.
The social media fight began with Banks posting her opinion on Iggy's Grammy nomination. "The Grammys are supposed to be awards for artistic excellence... Iggy Azalea's not excellent," tweeted the American rapper.
The "212" singer also stated that by giving Grammys to the "white kids", the organisers are telling them that they are great and can do anything that comes in their mind.
"It says to black kids, 'You don't have s***. You don't own s***, not even the s*** you created yourself.' And it makes me upset," added Banks.
As a reply to the American rapper, Iggy wrote, "You created your own unfortunate situation by being a bigot and don't have the mental capacity to realize yet".
The rapper called Banks "racial" and said, "Enjoy continuing to bang your head against that metaphoric brick wall & Savor this attention. I'm the only way you get ANY".
"You're poisonous and I feel genuinely sorry for you because it's obvious at this point you are a MISERABLE, angry human being. Regards!" she added.
The Twitter fight between the two singers garnered the attention of hacktivist collective Anonymous, which threatened Iggy, according to Mail Online.
"You have exactly 48 hours from now to release a statement apologizing to @AzealiaBanks and the protesters in NYC...," the group tweeted
"If you do not do so, the memory of you will burn from the public faster than the moment you surfaced. We're not kidding."
While the "Change Your Life" singer has remained tight lipped about the threatening message, the hacktivists' Twitter account has been pulled down.
