One of Bollywood's most loved jodis, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt, will make a comeback as a pair in "Badrinath Ki Dulhania." The duo was recently spotted at "Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania" producer Karan Johar's Dharma Productions office.
Varun and Alia's late night visit to KJo sparked speculations that the trio must have met to discuss their upcoming film. The duo, dressed in casuals, was snapped while leaving the place, according to Filmfare. However, earlier, Karan's "Shuddhi" was supposed to be made before "Badrinath Ki Dulhania," but the former has reportedly been shelved.
Directed by Shashank Khaitan, "Badrinath Ki Dulhania" will be a love story, set in the heart of Uttar Pradesh. The previous instalment was also a love story that was set in Punjab and Delhi, and it was said to be inspired by Shah Rukh Khan-Kajol's "Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge."
Produced by the "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil" director, Varun and Alia will wrap up the shooting of the film in one go. The makers of the film are planning to release "Badrinath Ki Dulhania" by the end of this year. The shooting of the film is set to go on floors in the first week of May after the actors wrap up their respective projects.
"Dilwale" actor Varun is currently shooting for brother Rohit Dhawan's "Dishoom" alongside John Abraham, Jacqueline Fernandez and Nargis Fakhri. Varun and John will be seen performing high octane action sequences in this film.
On the other hand, Alia will reportedly manage her schedule between Gauri Shinde's next and "Badrinath Ki Dulhania." She is currently shooting for Gauri's film alongside Shah Rukh Khan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Angad Bedi, Ali Zafar and Kunal Kapoor.
Meanwhile, Alia will be seen in Abhishek Chaubey's "Udta Punjab," which also features Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Diljit Dosanjh.
