Former lovers Abhishek Bachchan and Karisma Kapoor failed to culminate their relationship in marriage and instead ended up in heartbreak for both. It now looks like the former couple is still carrying the bitterness of their ugly split even today.
Abhishek and Karisma recently came under the same roof at the recent launch event of Shweta Bachchan Nanda and Monisha Jaising's fashion label called MxS. Their public appearance set the tongues wagging about reportedly avoiding each other at the event. The launch was attended by many Bollywood celebs including Katrina Kaif, Suhana Khan, Kiara Advani and others.
After the launch event, many videos on YouTube claimed that Abhishek Bachchan "ignored" Karisma in front of his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Did he?
In the video, Abhishek and Aishwarya can be seen stepping up on the platform to pose for the shutterbugs. Interestingly, Karisma arrived with Amrita Arora and Anu Dewan, wife of business tycoon Sunny Dewan, at the event soon after Abhishek and Aishwarya entered together.
Meanwhile, Karisma, who happens to be good friends with Shweta Bachchan, lend her support to the store launch and later posted a picture on her Instagram stories, calling Shweta's collection fabulous.
It is being said that Abhishek ensured not to get clicked with Karisma while posing with wife Aishwarya at the event. However, there is no official confirmation of the incident as of now.
However, this is not the first time Abhishek and Karisma crossed each other's path. In February, the two exes were seen at Sonam Kapoor's cousin Mohit Marwah's wedding in the UAE along with Shweta Bachchan and the entire Kapoor clan. Their public appearance had reminded many people of their unfortunate separation.
People observed the same thing at the recent prayer meet for Shweta's late father-in-law Rajan Nanda, who passed away in New Delhi on August 5. Apparently, Rajan's wife Ritu is Karisma's aunt.
