Blizzard Entertainment has announced that its upcoming expansion Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls will also be available on next-generation console Sony PlayStation 4.
Earlier, the title was confirmed to be in development for PC. The game was announced in August and will have new features called the Crusader class that will increase the level cap to 70. The Crusader class is a descendent of Paladin order and it is inclusive of Diablo 2's the Fist of the Heavens skill.
Other changes will include a new Loot 2.0 system that will see lesser magical drops, new enemies, quests and a new evil character.
The game will be playable at BlizzCon 2013, Anaheim, California on PlayStation 4 in November, GameSpot reported.
Participants at BlizzCon 2013 will also be able to try the game's single-player and same-screen co-op demos. These demos are set on the streets of Westmarch. Apart from these, participants will also get hands-on experience of DualShock 4's features for Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls, inlcuding the 'Share' function and touchpad.
Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls is an expansion for Diablo 3 which saw its release on May 2012 for PC and Mac. It has also shipped an excess of 12 million units. Diablo 3 was released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in September.
The removal of gold and real-money auction house system from March 2014 was announced by Blizzard Entertainment in September.
The release date of Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls is yet to be confirmed, so is the game's availability on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
