The makers of Ram Charan's "Dhruva" have released its first look as Independence Day treat for the mega family fans. The two posters, unleashed at 2.30 pm on Aug 15, have gone viral on social media.

"Dhruva" is being produced with a whopping budget by Allu Aravind under his banner Geetha Arts. The producer had announced on the official Twitter handle of his production on Aug 11 that the first of the film's posters would be released on Monday. Besides posting a poster, he wrote: "#Dhruva First look on 15th August. Starring @AlwayzRamCharan @Rakulpreet, #surenderreddy, @hiphoptamizha."

It was reported that the first look of "Dhruva" would be released on net at 2.00 pm on Aug 15. But the mega family fans went berserk, when it was delayed by half an hour. At 2.30 pm, producer Allu Aravind posted two posters and wrote: "Here you Go Guys #DhruvaFirstLook Starring #Ramcharan, @Rakulpreet Directed by #SurenderReddy Music @hiphoptamizha."

"Dhruva" is an official remake of the 2015 Tamil film "Thani Oruvan" written and directed by Mohan Raja. Megapower star Ram Charan is playing the lead role, while Rakul Preet Singh appears as the female lead in the action thriller directed by Surender Reddy. The posters of the film feature fierce and intense look of Ram Charan.

Ram Charan also released the first look of "Dhruva" on his official Facebook page. The posters, which impressed his fans, have been liked by over 56,000 people and shared by 2656 fans in two hours. They have also garnered 2,235 comments most of which are positive response for the posters. Here are few comments.

Actor Arvind Swamy, who essayed the antagonist role in "Thani Oruvan," is seen playing in the same role in its Telugu version. Nassar, Posani Krishna Murali and Navdeep are reprising important roles in the movie, which will have Hiphop Tamizha's music, PS Vinod's cinematography and Naveen Nooli's editing. The movie is scheduled to be released in cinema halls across the world on Oct 7, 2016.
