Like Allu Arjun's Sarrainodu, Ram Charan's Dhruva will not have a music launch function and its audio will be released directly into the market. Instead, the makers will have a grand pre-release event.
Allu Aravind, which has scored a blockbuster with Sarrainodu in 2016, is producing Dhruva under his banner Geetha Arts. The producer took to the Twitter account of his banner to announce that the movie will not have a formal music launch function and its audio album will be directly released in the market on November 9.
His post on Geetha Arts' Twitter handle read: "#Dhruva audio will be released directly into the market on November 9th! A @hiphoptamizha Musical. AUDIO ON 9th NOVEMBER!! A @hiphoptamizha MUSICAL. #Dhruva."
Audio launch functions are part of the promotion of movies in Telugu film industry. But producer Allu Aravind could not hold a formal music release event for Sarrainodu as he was denied permission over security issues. So he released its music album directly into the market. Later, he held a grand pre-release, which was a big hit and also played a role in the success of the film at the box office.
Allu Aravind has developed a sentiment with its success and is following the same promotional strategy for Dhruva. G Sriniwasa Kumar tweeted: "Successful sentiment of @GeethaArts continues. #MegaPowerstar #RamCharan #Dhruva audio direct release in market/online frm 9th Nov. Grand gala pre release event of #Dhruva is planned before release of the film. Date & chief guests of the event ll be announced soon."
Dhruva is a remake of 2015 Tamil action thriller film Thani Oruvan and Surender Reddy is directing the movie, which features Ram Charan, Rakul Preet Singh and Aravind Swamy in the lead roles. Hiphop Tamizha, who scored music for the original movie, is composing the songs of the film.
