TV actor Dhruv Bhandari's sudden exit from Star Plus' popular show "Tere Sheher Mein" made a huge buzz among his fans.
In an interview with the Asian Age, Dhruv, who played the role of Mantu, spoke about the rumours surrounding his exit from the show. He further said that he misses the show and his fans.
"All sorts of rumours are making the rounds, but I don't have much to say. It's part and parcel of the industry. Yes, I miss the show and I miss my fans who used to send compliments on social media and requests for me to post my selfies. As an actor, I am used to people taking my pictures, but I am very bad at it myself. I find the idea of selfies a little absurd, to be honest," said Dhruv.
However, the actor assured that he will be be back to the small screen soon.
"Definitely sooner than what anybody can expect. Actually, why just TV? I may even do something else. I love to act and entertain people. I'm in the midst of getting good work. I want to do a nice romantic story next."
According to reports, Dhruv was unhappy with the changes made in the show's storyline.
"Tere Sheher Mein" fans have been anxiously waiting for Mantu and Amaya's reunion, but the makers decided to add more spice to the storyline by delaying it. Further, a major twist was also included in the plot, wherein the male protagonist's character will have some shades of grey. All these changes reportedly didn't go down well with Dhruv, who decided to quit the show.
