Hrithik Roshan has reportedly been flooded with movie offers, but in the process of selecting the right script, he might be losing out on several other projects. After walking out of Nikhil Advani's "Bazaar", Hrithik has now opted out of "Thug" and the reason behind it is said to be "Dhoom 4".
The makers of "Dhoom" franchise recently revealed the logo of "Dhoom Reloaded" which hinted at the fourth instalment in the series. And as per reports, Hrithik will return as the baddie in the fourth instalment, which is helmed by Vijay Krishna Acharya (Victor), DNA reported.
Several stars' name had emerged for the lead role in "Dhoom 4", including Salman Khan and "Baahubali" star Prabhas, but looks like Bollywood's heartthrob Hrithik is racing ahead to bag the deal.
Another report suggests that Hrithik is not too keen about "Thug", also directed by Victor. Apparently, Hrithik is worried about the storyline.
"Hrithik isn't yet on board this project. The film is going to have a huge budget and he wants to make sure the script is in its right place. A lot of focus has been on the special effects so he is worried that the story and plot might take a back seat," Bollywood Life quoted an insider as saying.
Speculations are rife regarding "Dhoom 4", "Thug" and Hrithik starring in either of them, but there has been no official confirmation from the makers of the film.
Meanwhile, Hrithik has two confirmed projects in hand. The actor is finishing the last schedule of the period film "Mohenjo Daro", which will be released in August this year. The second project he will work on is an untitled film directed by Sanjay Gupta.
