Ruling out the rumours that Hrithik Roshan and Amitabh Bachchan have been roped in for "Dhoom 4", film director Vijay Krishna Acharya stated that he has not even approached Big B.
"No such plans yet," PTI quoted the "Dhoom 4" director as saying when asked if he had approached Amitabh Bachchan for the fourth instalment of the franchise.
However, Acharya did not reveal much on speculations of Hrithik being a part of "Dhoom 4" again. "We will be announcing the film in a few weeks. Will keep you posted and will be able to give you a clear picture then," said the director on asked about rumours of Hrithik's association with the upcoming movie.
Meanwhile, some reports also suggest that the makers of "Dhoom 4" are planning to approach Salman Khan to play the lead role in the film. "YRF is simultaneously working on two action films; one will be Thug starring Hrithik Roshan and the other one is Dhoom 4. There have been many brainstorming sessions regarding the plot of Dhoom 4. However, despite many interesting ideas, they are yet to finalise on one. Everyone from the team is of the opinion that Salman Khan should be a part of Dhoom 4 and take the franchise forward. There are plans to approach Salman Khan once the script is locked," Catch News quoted a source as saying.
While many speculations are doing rounds regarding the cast of "Dhoom 4", Times of India quoted a Yash Raj Films' official saying, "Wait for YRF to make the official announcements on forthcoming films and in the meantime please refrain from casting speculations."
