Dhoom-3: Katrina Kaif to Sing in the Film

The problem girl of Vijay Krishna Acharya's upcoming film "Dhoom-3," Katrina Kaif, will exercise her vocal cords for the first time in this film.

According to reports in Times of India, Kaif has been asked by "Yash Raj Films" to practice some heavy duty stunts and sing for her role in "Dhoom -3."

"The actress will need to undertake para-gliding lessons and a full-fledged singing course for the project," the source added.

During her seven-year-long career in the Indian film industry, Kaif has acted in more than 25 films including Telugu, Malayalam and Bollywood films. This will be the first time she will sing for a film.

Meanwhile, the producer, Aditya Chopra, has given Kaif a lot to work on regarding her looks, accent and body language for her role in "Dhoom-3."

The 27-year-old Bollywood actress stands firm on her "no kissing, no exposing" stance with her special request to Chopra to skip the bikini and kissing sequences in "Dhoom-3." "Dhoom-2" did have a kissing scene by Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

Kaif will star opposite Aamir Khan, who plays a negative role in the film, while Abhishek Bachchan And Uday Chopra will essay their previous roles of the earlier "Dhoom" series as ACP Jai Dixit and  racer, respectively.

The film is scheduled to release in December 2012.
