As expected, the advance booking for Aamir Khan starrer "Dhoom 3" is getting a phenomenal response from audiences across India.
"Dhoom 3", the third film in the Dhoom franchise, is all set to hit the screens worldwide this Friday (20 December). The advance booking for the much-awaited film started from Monday with a bang.
In India, the film's producers have booked around 4000 screens, making it one of the widest releases.
The online ticket booking portal for the film has been receiving thunderous response for advance bookings. At some theaters the tickets have already been sold out and at some places the seats are filling up fast.
Going by the online ticket booking portal, the film is getting good response in NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Ahmadabad, Kolkata and other circuits.
Being a festive release, expectations are riding high on "Dhoom 3" to re-write the box office records and set new benchmarks for future films.
The highest advance online booking record is held by Salman Khan's "Ek The Tiger", released in 2012. But the phenomenal response for "Dhoom 3" suggests it will break all records.
The film, which is said to be a game-changer, is set for a big non-holiday opener. The film has already created the required hype to be a blockbuster and break records.
Also, internationally the film is expected to open with a bang. Trade analysts are expecting that the film will give some tough competition to Hollywood films in overseas markets. The film is releasing in more than 700 screens overseas.
