"Dhoom 3" is continuing its record breaking theatrical run at collection centers worldwide. Vijay Krishna Acharya's film has raked in ₹174 crore in just six days from Indian markets and ₹271 crore from worldwide box offices.
The Christmas holiday on Wednesday has helped the film's business to grow. On Wednesday, the film raked in a total ₹25.52 crore, from its Hindi, Tamil and Telugu versions, according to trade analyst Taran Adarsh.
The Hindi version of the film has raked in ₹165.50 crore from six days, while the Tamil and Telugu versions added ₹9.47 crore to the overall domestic total.
Due to Christmas holiday, the domestic collection increased but in overseas markets the collection remained dull.
The film has maintained a good pace at the box office in India and overseas markets, especially in Pakistan, New Zealand and Australia circuits.
In Pakistan, the film has gained popularity among the masses and is running in more than 5 shows per day at several places. The film also broke the record of Pakistani film "Waar". [Read the report here]
In Australia and New Zealand, the film shattered "3 Idiots" record and became the highest grossing Indian film ever with ₹6.35 crore and ₹1.68 crore respectively.
While, from the UK box offices the film minted ₹13.32 crore till Wednesday. The total overseas collection of the film stands at ₹96.69 crore and the worldwide total is over ₹271 crore.

"Here's *Fri to Wed* total of #Dhoom3: India ₹ 174.97 cr + Overseas ₹ 96.69 cr [$ 15.57 million]. Worldwide total: ₹ 271.66 cr. BLOCKBUSTER!"
The film is expected to dominate the silver screen during the New Year holidays as no other big film is releasing this week, except for the animated flick "Mahabharat".
