An FIR has been reportedly filed against Kannada actor Dharma aka Dharmendra on grounds of harassment and extortion charges at Begur police station. A woman has made allegations on Dharma of filming an objectionable video of her and extorting Rs 14 lakh.
In her complaint, she claims that he had allegedly invited her to the shooting spot through his driver named Naveen, saying that she would be given an opportunity to act in a film, reports Public TV.
Upon reaching the place, Dharma allegedly said that the shooting was cancelled and offered her to join him for lunch in a hotel in RR Nagar. She was given a cold drink laced with some sedative after which she became unconscious and he filmed a sleazy video of her.
Later, he threatened her of leaking the video if she fails to meet his demand, Public TV adds, while claiming the victim had alleged the actor of extorting Rs 14 lakh from her.
The complaint was filed two months ago, but it has come to light only now after the cops failed to take necessary action against him.
In a turn of events, the complainant has now denied filing the case against him. The actor is yet to give his statement on the issue.
