Fans of Showtime's "Devious Maids" must be ecstatic on learning that the dramedy has been renewed for Season 4, and as cream to that cake of a news, we have got some juicy tidbits from the upcoming season for you.
The Season 3 finale of "Devious Maids" was nothing short of thrilling, and ended with some amazing cliff-hangers, namely the fatal complication in Zoila's (Judy Reyes) pregnancy and Peri's (Mariana Klaveno) return. Zoila's fate is completely left to Genevieve (Susan Lucci), who is left to choose if she wants to save her maid or her baby.
The result of this conundrum would be very interesting to watch; because Genevieve is never the one to make decisions and this huge responsibility is suddenly thrust onto her. Moreover, whomever she chooses to save, there would be a lot of guilt that will follow – because she has to either rid an infant of its mother or rid a mother of her baby.
Meanwhile, Rosie's life is expected to turn into hell, with the return of Peri. It is safe to assume that her return has more to do with revenge than love for ex-husband Spence (Grant Show), who is in amnestic.
"When she left, she was mad because she felt cuckolded; nobody leaves a star for a maid! I don't know exactly what Peri is thinking, but for me, this is her chance to get back at both of them," executive producer of "Devious Maids" Sabrina Wind told TV Line.
Peri is one of those characters we know, is capable of being driven only by revenge.
