Xur is back in the tower with the inventory full of goodies. For the past few weeks, Xur's stuff has been less than satisfactory, but our favourite Agent of the Nine looks to make things right with the re-introduction of Gjallarhorn.
For the week, Xur is carrying the Gjallarhorn, one of the most sought after Exotics since the launch of the game, one more time. The Exotic rocket launcher was up for sale in the past also, but was missed out by a host of players, mainly because no one was sure about the overall power of the Exotic.
The Exotic is further complemented by its Wolfpack Rounds that have the ability to track down targets and cause extra damage, apart from the massive, initial explosion. Sure, the weapon is set to be nerfed once The Taken King DLC lands, but for the time being, it remains one of the potent Exotics in the game, which can be purchased for 17 Strange Coins.
But enough about the Gjallarhorn. Other items that are up for sale this week include An Insurmountable Skullfort (Exotic Titan helm), Achlyophage Symbiote (Exotic Hunter helm) and Light Beyond Nemesis (Exotic Warlock helm). Each of these Exotics is available for 13 Strange Coins, apart from the Exotic gloves engrams that can also be purchased for 23 Motes of Light each.
As usual, you shall find Xur, Agent of the Nine, in the Tower, near the jukebox. And if indeed you are looking to discover the power of the Gjallarhorn, note that Xur will be dealing with the Exotic until 2 AM PST, 16 August.
