Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convener Arvind Kejriwal accepted the invitation from Lieutenant Governor of Delhi to meet him on Saturday but refused to form a government in a coalition with either of the grand old parties - Congress or Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
"We have received a letter from the Lt Governor and Arvind Kejriwalji will meet him tomorrow despite his ill-health," AAP leader Yogendra Yadav told ANI on Friday.
Kejriwal has been keeping ill for the past few days. He called off his meeting with social activist Anna Hazare, who has been on a hunger strike in Ralegaon Siddhi, Maharashtra.
The party's official Twitter handle said, "AAP has received an official invitation from the LG. Arvind will be meeting him at 10:30 am despite his bad health and put forward our stand."
Yadav also declared after meeting Kejriwal at his house in Delhi that AAP does not believe in 'horse-trading', indicating it won't form a coalition with Congress or BJP.
"We will explain the entire situation to him (Lt Governor). We do not have majority and don't believe in horse-trading. We don't believe in politics of give and take," he added.
In the 4 December Assembly polls held in the national capital, AAP made a stunning debut by winning 28 seats. The BJP was left with 31 seats and Congress retained only eight seats out of a total of 70.
The Congress had announced that it was considering the option of supporting the AAP in Delhi and help it to gain a majority of 36 seats in the Vidhan Sabha. However, Kejriwal-led AAP rejected the offer saying it would be a 'betrayal' of the people who voted for them as their party ideology is one of anti-corruption in politics.
