The Royal Challengers Bangalore have been embarrassingly poor in IPL 2017. Everything they tried this season, has gone down the drain. To be fair, RCB have been a tad unlucky with injuries as well. RCB will hope to win their last match in the group stages when they face Delhi Daredevils on Sunday.
Like Royal Challengers Bangalore, Delhi Daredevils have also disappointed after some early promise in the competition. They lacked the cutting edge to finish come crunch games this season.
DD have all the ammunitions in their team to beat RCB in IPL 2017 Match 56. Zaheer Khan will hope for A-class game from his players against RCB. The Indian contingent in the batting department including Sanju Samson, Karun Nair and Rishabh Pant have to score while the bowling attack led by Australian Pat Cummins and Mohammed Shami from India also need to excel.
Having the right resources and talent is one facet of the game, but executing it on the field is the most important aspect in any team game. This is what exactly DD have missed in IPL 2017. Can they bring all their plans together against RCB?
RCB players surely must be hurt with their performances this season. Royal Challengers led by Virat Kohli, who has a winning mentality, will make sure that they win their last match of the season.
They have just won two games this season, but even a victory here would not help them get out of the last position, as they have just won two games and have five points while seventh-placed Gujarat Lions have eight.
Kohli, on the personal front, has also not been that impressive. He, along with Chris Gayle, will try to make some amends with a good game on Sunday, May 14. Besides the duo, the likes of Kedar Jadhav, Shane Watson and Samuel Badree need to tighten their games to help them get that elusive third win of the season.
Irrespective of who wins the match, both teams will want to forget this season in a hurry and get ready for IPL 2018.
