Deepika Padukone, who is one of the most sought after actresses of B-town, may soon be seen sharing the screen space with her father and badminton star Prakash Padukone.
The actress, who chose acting as her career instead of following her father has reportedly managed to convince Sr Padukone to face the camera and shoot for an ad film.
The "Chennai Express" actress will be seen promoting a private bank along with India's first badminton star, who does a brief appearance in the ad. Deepika has been endorsing the bank for quite some time now.
"The father-daughter duo feature in a print ad for a private bank. The reserved and soft-spoken Prakash Padukone is camera shy and it took Deepika a while to make him comfortable," a source told Mid-Day.
Sr Padukone, who is known for his humbleness, was also quoted by another source: "I had seen him at the registrar's office in Bandra where he completed the registration formalities for Deepika's house but not even once did he flaunt his status. He stood there patiently till his turn came for the verification process."
