Bollywood has seen several love birds who could not take their relationship far and the reason behind their break-ups has also been buried with their broken relationship.

Here are those ex-couples whose separation will remain a mystery forever.

Deepika – Ranbir

Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor's break-up came as a rude shock to their fans as they were the hottest couple of B-town. Be it Kapoor's carefree attitude towards the relationship or his casanova image or his mother Neetu Kapoor's disapproval -- the reasons were mere speculations during the pair's separation. But nobody is sure about the truth behind the separation of the most-loved pair.

Aishwarya – Salman

Tabloids screamed physical abuse when the most-beautiful couple parted ways. It was said that Salman Khan used to beat up Aishwarya Rai but there was no confirmation on this from either of them. Aishwarya kept mum and Khan, who has been with many girls by now, too never came out in the open about his split with the former Miss World. And Bollywood lost a perfect couple. 

Hrithik – Sussanne

Everybody was shocked when the 'perfect world' of Hrithik Roshan and his wife of 11 years, Sussanne Khan, came crumbling down. People made various assumptions, but none confirmed. While some blamed Sussanne's proximity with Arjun Rampal, the others named Hrithik's mother Pinky Roshan as the reason behind the divorce.

Bipasha – John

Bipasha Basu, who could never stop talking about his lover boy John Abraham, broke-up abruptly. The couple went their separate ways without assigning any reason to their break-up. Why they parted ways after being together for over a decade still remains shrouded in mystery.

Kareena – Shahid

From 'getting close in public' to 'going vegetarian', Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor had done it all during their love affair. The couple suddenly, got separated and it was said that it was Bebo who wanted to 'move on'. 

Kalki – Anurag Kashyap

"Dev D" director Anurag Kashyap and actress Kalki Koechlin started dating each other since the release of this film. They were so much in love that they got married in 2011 but nobody knows what happened when the pair issued a joint statement in 2013 saying they were separating.
