Deepika Padukone Wins Hottest Pole Dancer Title; Beats Sunny Leone, Malaika Arora Khan

Based on the results of a recently concluded poll, Deepika Padukone has surpassed adult star-turned-actress Sunny Leone's pole-dancing skills.

Malaika Arora Khan, who is known for her mesmerizing dancing skills, lost the battle with only 7 percent of the votes.

"With 53 percent votes to back her up in the race, Dippy made a sweeping victory indeed. Sunny came in second with 40 percent votes in her favour. Malaika lagged behind with only a mere 7 percent votes in her bag," stated a Bollywood Life report.

Padukone has never really gone overboard with her dance performances and so, the exceptional dancing skills she displayed in the "Lovely" song from "Happy New Year" came as a pleasant surprise. The video went viral within days of its release and has garnered close to 10 million views so far.

Interestingly, the gorgeous diva was a bundle of nerves before she signed "HNY" and wasn't sure of her character Mohini, a bar dancer. But after she shed all her inhibitions, went ahead and shot for the catchy number, it was a treat for her fans.

"Farah had a list of do's for the actress. I will prepare for it like any other film. If I am required to be a great dancer in the film, I will have to work damn hard. She wants a girl who is Maharashtrian, good dancer and a specific look. Manish Malhotra is doing my clothes, my hair stylist is there, I hope it turns out good," NDTV quoted the actress.

However, Leone's pole-dancing skills came to the fore on high-voltage reality show "Bigg Boss 5" and Khan stunned everyone in "Maahi Ve" song from "Kaante".

Padukone will be next seen in Imitiaz Ali's "Tamaasha" with ex-beau Ranbir Kapoor and Shoojit Sircar's "Piku" alongside Amitabh Bachchan.
