Bollywood actress, Deepika Padukone, will be seen in two upcoming films â€" "Tamasha" and "Bajirao Mastani."
As everyone knows by now, both the characters played by Deepika are poles apart. In "Tamasha", she is a carefree and happy girl, whereas, in "Bajirao Mastani", she plays a princess warrior.
Imtiaz Ali's "Tamasha" will be bringing back the popular on-screen pair of Deepika and Ranbir Kapoor. They were last seen in the blockbuster flick "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani".
"Tamasha" will be the second film after Deepika and Ranbir's break-up. Currently, the team is busy promoting the film, which will be released on 27 November.
In the romantic-comedy film, Deepika plays the character of Tara Maheshwari who is a quick, eloquent and emotionally-agile girl. She will join Ved (played by Ranbir) to explore Corsica.
Deepika's role in the film "Bajirao Mastani" is totally different from the character she plays in "Tamasha". In the Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial, Deepika plays the character of a warrior, Mastani. The film is the love story of Peshwa Bajirao (played by Ranveer Singh) and Mastani (second wife of Bajirao).
It also features Priyanka Chopra as the first wife of Bajirao, Kashibai, in a pivotal role.
Deepika will be seen performing many action sequences with swords. Her never-seen-before look revealed in the film's trailer has already captured millions of hearts.
"Bajirao Mastani" will be released on 18 December.
