Deepika Padukone, Sonam Kapoor and other best-dressed celebs at Filmfare Awards 2016

One of the most prestigious awards ceremonies, Filmfare Awards, was held on 15 January at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Stadium in Mumbai. The 61^st Britannia Filmfare Awards 2016 honoured several Bollywood celebrities who entertained viewers last year with performances, commercially successful films and critically acclaimed films of 2015.

However, a pre-party was held earlier which was attended by several Bollywood stars. In the main event, Shah Rukh Khan and Kapil Sharma stole the show with their hilarious hosting talent. Also, Alia Bhatt entertained viewers on the stage along with SRK.

The Filmfare Awards 2016 red carpet was graced by Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh, Sonam Kapoor, Fawad Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Bhumi Pednekar, Sunny Leone and many others.

Ranveer Singh won the Best Actor in the leading role male category for his performance in "Bajirao Mastani", Deepika Padukone received Best Actor in the leading role female for "Piku". Salman's "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" bagged the Best Story title, while "Bajirao Mastani" received Best Film award.

The stars looked amazing in their perfect outfits. Deepika looked stunning in a red gown Ralph & Russo Couture with a red lip and red sandals, while Sonam chose an ethnic wear which looked gorgeous on the actress.

The actresses Bhumi Padnekar and Parineeti Chopra, who lost weight recently, looked beautiful in their chosen attires. Bhumi wore a Banarasi lehenga by Manish Malhotra and Parineeti captured hearts in a black gown.
