Priyanka Chopra has finally got engaged to beau Nick Jonas in a traditional roka ceremony at her residence in Mumbai on August 18 in the presence of their respective family members and close friends. And now, it is time for the lovebirds Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh who have started shopping for their big fat wedding which will take place at Lake Como, in Lombardy, Italy on November 20.
"Both the families are running around to ensure that their shopping is done in time. Since the wedding will be taking place at Lake Como in Italy, it is imperative that the families will want to do all their shopping here," a source was quoted as saying by Bollywood Life.
The source added, ''They have decided to start off by buying the most important things for an Indian wedding - jewellery. But instead of the traditional gold or the more in-trend platinum, the couple's families are picking up silver jewellery. Perhaps the silver is to match with their outfits.''
Deepika and Ranveer's wedding guest list consists of merely 30 people and the couple are expected to host a grand receptions once they're back in India post the wedding. The guests will not be allowed to carry cell phones with them at the wedding to avoid unnecessary leaks from the ceremony.
"The maximum time was taken to decide the date. Both Ranveer and Deepika want everything about their marriage to be perfect. The roka was done long back and the wedding date was finalised just a few weeks ago," a source earlier was quoted as saying by Filmfare.
The couple will also reportedly host two receptions - one in Mumbai for their friends from Bollywood and another in Deepika's hometown Bangalore for their extended family members and relatives.
