After the success of "Finding Fanny", director Homi Adajania has apparently roped in Deepika Padukone once again for his next ambitious project.
If reports are to be believed, Padukone will be seen romancing Varun Dhawan in the remake of superhit Hollywood film, "The Fault in Our Stars", reported The Times of India.
According to the reports, both the actors have given their nod to the film, however, no official announcement has been made regarding the same.
But, if the deal is signed, this would be the first time that Padukone and Dhawan would share the screen space in a film, which would definitely be a treat to their fans.
"The Fault In Our Stars" was originally a best-selling teen classic in 2012, written by John Green. The book was later adapted into an English film with the same title.
The plot story is about a young lady who is suffering from cancer and after being forced by parents, attends a support group, where she meets a young boy, who is also a cancer patient and falls in love with him.
While, the Hindi version will too focus on the youngsters who fall in love while they are in their end stage of the deadly disease, the Hindi adaptation will have humour added to the heavy subject. The film is expected to go on floors by March 2015.
While, the film will be "Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania" actor's first association with the director, Padukone will be teaming up with Adajania for the third time. The duo has given two superhit films, "Cocktail" (2012) and the recently released "Finding Fanny".
Meanwhile, Adajania's "Finding Fanny" that released on 12 September has been receiving good responses from the audience. He has been praised for presenting the actors in a never-before-seen characters.
Apart from Padukone and Arjun, the satirical movie has some random characters played by senior actress Dimple Kapadia, veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah and Pankaj Kapoor.
