Deepika Padukone and Kangana Ranaut's cat-fight appears to be still on. Although the two were apparently very good friends at one point of time, it seems their cold war has a long way to go.
In a recent interview, Deepika was asked about her love-hate relationship with Kangana, to which the former made a straight and blunt reply. "It's only one-sided. It's irrelevant. It's really irrelevant. I have way too much going in my life so what people say, what people do, what people think is really irrelevant," Deepika told Filmfare.
The apparent rivalry between the two leading ladies of Bollywood started when Deepika, who won the Best Actress award for "Happy New Year", dedicated the honour to Kangana for her performance in "Queen". However, this gesture was not appreciated by Kangana as she said in an interview that if Deepika had liked her work, she could have called her up personally and congratulate her. She also added that several A-lister stars personally called up after the success of "Queen" but Deepika never did the same.
Following this, Deepika reportedly called up the "Tanu Weds Manu Returns" actress and cleared the misunderstanding. But things again turned wrong when Kangana told media that Deepika had called her, which did not go down well with the "Bajirao Mastani" actress.
