Mumbai /New Delhi, Sept 16 (ANI): Celebrities backed Bollywood's glamorous actress, Deepika Padukone, as she declared war on social networking site Twitter after a leading newspaper published her photograph with an article emphasising on her cleavage. The war started on September 14 when a leading daily published a photo gallery on its website titled "OMG: Deepika Padukone's Cleavage Show". After the post, Padukone retorted and tweeted "YES! I am a Woman. I have breasts AND a cleavage! You got a problem!!??" "Don't talk about Woman's Empowerment when YOU don't know how to RESPECT Women!" she added. Later on, the daily clarified that the report was meant to be a "compliment". "You look so great that we want to make sure everyone knew! :)" the newspaper tweeted. The newspaper's defence was met with more outrage as Bollywood actors, actresses, directors and Padukone's fans came out in her support to express shock and criticise the media. Bollywood diva, Priyanka Chopra, said she is proud of Padukone as she revealed everyday struggle of women in the film industry. Bollywood actor and former Femina Miss India, Neha Dhupia, also praised Padukone for her sharp and blunt response.
