While the B-Town ex-flames, Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor are riding high with their respective career graph, the duo are apparently finding it difficult to work together after their much publicised break-up.
Both Padukone and Kapoor who are currently shooting for Imtiaz Ali's "Tamaasha" in Corcisa are maintaining a safe distance from each other, according to a source.
The "Chennai Express" actress reportedly interacts with her ex-boyfriend only when they are on sets or while rehearsing some scenes, reported Bollywoodlife.com.
Unlike, during the shooting of Ayan Mukherji's "Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani" (2013), when the duo shared a healthy working relationship post their break-up, it appears that things are different this time around during the "Tamaasha" shoots.
It is believed that due to Padukone's serious relationship with Ranveer Singh and the "Barfi" star's committed to his girlfriend, Katrina Kaif, that has forced the ex-lovers avoid each other.
Rumours also had it that Padukone and Kapoor wants to prioritise their relationships and don't want to create an uncomfortable situation for their respective partners while the duo shares the screen space.
Moreover, Padukone wishing the "Dhoom 3" actress on her birthday through a public platform was not an easy step for the leggy lass.
"It was a big move for her to go on Twitter and post a Happy Birthday message to Katrina. Perhaps, this was her way of telling Ranbir that she's over him and wants nothing but the best for his future. Also Dippy and Kat haven't really been friends in the past, and being linked to the same guy hasn't made it any easier." said the source.
Earlier reports of Kaif flying down to the Mediterranean Island of Corsica to spend her birthday with her alleged boyfriend and his ex-girlfriend made quite a buzz. But the lovers reportedly travelled to another location close by to celebrate the special day as it would be a little uncomfortable for them to have Padukone around.
"It would have been awkward to have Deepika around and celebrate Kat's birthday. So it made more sense for them to go elsewhere." the source added.
In a similar situation, Kapoor's girlfriend Kaif, who is busy wrapping up the final schedule of Siddharth Anand's "Bang Bang" opposite Hrithik Roshan had apparently stopped talking to the actor. Going by the reports, Kapoor was miffed with the growing closeness of the "Bang Bang" stars, which may have made Kaif avoid Roshan.
