Here is the list of Tamil films set to release in the month of December.
Kalyana Samayal Saadham
Prasanna's upcoming film will release on 6 December. Directed by RS Prasanna, the film features Lekha Washington, Delhi Ganesh and Uma Padmanabhan in pivotal roles.

Ivan Vera Mathiri
Vikram Prabhu's "Ivan Vera Mathiri" will hit the screens on 13 December. The romantic-thriller flick is directed by Sarvanan of "Engeyum Eppodhum" fame.
Unlike his debut film "Kumki", Vikram Prabhu will be seen in the character of a city-bred youth. Newcomer Surabhi will play the female lead, while Telugu actor Vamsi Krishna appears in a pivotal role.
Expectations are quite high for the film as the actor and director's first films have been big hits. It remains to be seen if "Ivan Vera Mathiri" will be able to impress the audience.
The film, which has received a clean "U" certificate, is co produced by UTV Motion Pictures and director N Lingusamy's Thirrupathi brothers.

Endrendrum Punnagai
Jiiva-Vinay-Santhanam's comedy entertainer "Endrendrum Punnagai" will release on 20 December.
The film, directed by Mueenuddin Ahmed, will have Trisha Krishnan and Andrea Jeremiah in important roles.
"Endrendrum Punnagai" is produced by G.K.M. Tamil Kumaran, Dr. Ramadoss and distributed by Red Giant Movies.

Dhoom 3
The Tamil-dubbed version of "Dhoom 3" will have a simultaneous release with the Hindi version on 20 December.
Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, "Dhoom 3" is one of the most-awaited films of 2013. The action-entertainer is the third installment in the "Dhoom" franhise.
Aamir Khan appears as the antagonist in the film, which will see Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra reprising their roles from the earlier versions of "Dhoom." Katrina Kaif will do a pivotal role in the Aamir-starrer.
The dubbed version of "Dhoom 2" performed well in south India, upon its release in 2006. "Dhoom 3" is also expected to take a good opening this December.

Biriyani
Karthi's "Biriyani", which was expected to release for Pongal, will be now served early.
The black-comedy thriller film will release on 20 December. It will clash with Jiiva's "Endrendrum Punnagai" and Aamir Khan's "Dhoom 3."
Directed by Venkat Prabhu, "Biriyani" is also one of the most-awaited films of the year. Actor Karthi is undergoing a low phase in his career with his past releases turning out to be box office duds. "Biriyani" is expected to resurrect the actor's slugging career.
The film will have Premgi Amaren in a pivotal role. Hansika Motwani appears as the female lead.
"Biriyani" is produced by K. E. Gnanavel Raja under Studio Green banner.

Rummy
Vijay Sethupathi's "Rummy", which was scheduled to release in November, has been delayed.
Earlier reports had suggested that the film might release on 6 December but now the buzz is that it might arrive on 13 December. However, there is no official confirmation on the same.
Directed by debutant Balakrishnan, "Rummy" is a romantic-thriller with Vijay Sethupathi in the lead. The film will have Gayathrie Shankar, Iyshwarya Rajesh and Inigo Prabhakaran in pivotal roles.

Thagararu
Arulnidhi of "Mouna Guru" fame is back on the silver screen with his upcoming flick "Thagararu." The film, directed by Ganesh Vinayak, will release on 6 December.
"Thagararu" is set in the backdrop of Madurai. Poorna plays the female lead, while Jayaprakash appears in a pivotal role.

JK Enum Nanbanin Vazhkai
Cheran's "JK Enum Nanbanin Vazhkai" is also expected to release in December. But the film's release date is not yet confirmed.
Actor Sharwanand of "Engeyum Eppodhum" fame will play the lead role in the film. Nithya Menon appears as the female lead, whereas Prakash Raj and Santhanam will also be seen in important roles.
