Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt-starrer Dear Zindagi has been witnessing impressive collection at the box office since its opening day. After completing the 1st weekend on an excellent note, the movie continued a decent run at the domestic market in the weekdays as well.
Dear Zindagi completed 5 days at the Indian box office on Tuesday. The film had collected Rs 32.50 crore nett at the domestic market by the end of its first weekend. With a screen count of 1200, the figures are pretty good.
Directed by Gauri Shinde, Dear Zindagi kept up the momentum over the weekdays as well as the film had earned Rs 4.25 crore on Monday. Dear Zindagi kept its pace steady on Tuesday also with a collection of Rs 4 crore nett, taking its domestic 5-day earning to Rs 40.75 crore.

Having no major release alongside, Dear Zindagi has become one of the biggest openers of 2017. The film has been performing well in the overseas market as well. After receiving a positive response from the critics, the movie enjoyed strong word of mouth.
Apart from Shah Rukh and Alia's onscreen chemistry, the audience has also been applauding the story of the film. Even the issue of demonetisation seems to have very little affect on the collection of Dear Zindagi.
However, Shinde's film will have to fight it out at the box office with Vidya Balan-starrer Kahaani 2 that is slated to be released on December 2. The trailer of Kahaani 2 had witnessed good response from the viewers are fans are looking forward to the film.
