What makes a good superhero? Is it the powers that he possesses? Or the fact that he's just another guy with a big heart and open mind? Well, in our dictionary, he has to be absolutely classless, free of any moral values while dignity flies out of the window. And hence Deadpool fits the bill. But is it true that our ever beloved Wade Wilson is about to die? Well, Marvel says so.
According to the publisher, Deadpool is also set to die come April this year, and it was announced via a Nerdist report that April's Deadpool #250 will result in Wade Wilson's death. This is especially sad since we have had such fond memories about the Merc With a Mouth.
The main story in issue #250 will result in co-writers Gerry Duggan and Brian Posehn chart out the final clash between Deadpool and the terrorist organisation ULTIMATUM that has been a nuisance to him through the series. And this story will evidently see the death of the Wade Wilson. The issue is also set to feature several shorter stories from comedy writers such as Ben Acker, Ben Blacker, Mike Drucker, and Paul Scheer.
In a recent interview with The Nerdist, Duggan said, "I will say this: in all honesty, the story that you're going to get in Deadpool #250, is a story that we really have been building to since the first issue of Deadpool NOW. And it will absolutely feel – it will feel, I hope, readers will think that this is an appropriate end for this Deadpool."
Duggan also revealed how the story is to compare with the recent Death of Wolverine mini-series. "I will say the death of Wolverine was a very sort of serious. I think as with all things Deadpool, even when something horrible is happening, I do think it will be enjoyed by the reader. Even the most horrible things that we've done to him, you know, are still fun. I hope. I think. This is definitely a blunt, over-sized celebration of that."

FINAL ISSUE!
That's right—if you add together all the Deadpool series (creatively) issue 45 is the big 250th issue of Deadpool! What better way to celebrate than to end the series? In our over-sized main story, ULTIMATUM comes at Deadpool for revenge, so he has no choice but to take them on—ALL OF THEM. Then, in an Infinity Gauntlet crossover, what would Deadpool do if he got the six gems from Thanos? Plus: a slew of stories showcasing Deadpool's closest friends and allies by special guest writers! Also, SPOILER: Deadpool dies at the end of the issue."
Death is inevitable. It is!
