Shraddha Kapoor had a rather terrifying moment when gangster Dawood Ibrahim's family members paid a visit on the sets of her upcoming movie Haseena at Mehboob Studios.
Shraddha plays the real-life character of Dawood's late sister Haseena Parkar in the movie. The actress along with the other cast and crew was shooting for the film when Haseena's three children and her brother paid a sudden visit on the sets.
Their visit on the sets initially reportedly created panic among the stars. "There were Haseena Parkar's three children Alishah, Umeria and Khushiyan and Haseena's brother Sameer Antulay. Initially, Shraddha and the rest of the cast including Siddhanth Kapoor who plays her brother Dawood and Ankur Bhatia who plays Haseena's husband were alarmed. But then the atmosphere softened. The tension dissolved," Bollywood Hungama quoted a source as saying.
Dawood's family was happy to meet the stars and gave the team some of Haseena's belongings and tidbits of her life.
"Haseena Parkar's children and brother fell in love with the way the film was being shot. They had come prepared for the eventuality of falling in love with the film. They had gotten along the real Haseena's personal belongings, her reading glasses, nose ring and her favourite lipstick which they presented to Shraddha," the source told the publication.
The report also quoted Ankur Bhatia, who plays the character of Shraddha's husband in the movie, saying that it was an "amazing" experience for him to meet them for the first time. Haseena had died of a heart attack in 2014.
Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the movie Haseena will present Shraddha in the main lead role for the first time.
