After a long wait, the good news has arrived at last. The first trailer for the Stephen King's The Dark Tower is finally rated and ready to be released soon.

According to Trailer Track, The Dark Tower trailer has been rated in Canada by Consumer Protection BC. As the runtime for the trailer shows 2 min 32 sec, so presumably it is going to be the first full-length trailer for the movie. The Consumer Protections BC website actually shows two separate rating entries for The Dark Tower trailer which are likely to be the entries for the 2D and 3D versions of the same trailer with similar footage.
The trailer of the Stephen King literary adaptation is said to have attached to the North American release of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2 (it will release on May 5, 2017). Then the trailer might arrive in the next week and if not then within the next fortnight.
A work print trailer for The Dark Tower leaked online in October 2016. The video was quickly pulled down by Columbia Pictures.

Jake Chambers is a young 11-year-old adventure seeker who discovers clues about another dimension called Mid-World. But with various monsters and a vicious sorcerer named Walter Padick hot on their trail, the unlikely duo find that their quest may be difficult to complete.

Directed by Nikolaj Arcel, the sci-fi-horror film features Idris Elba (Roland Deschain), Matthew McConaughey (Walter Padick), and Tom Holland (Jake Chambers). The Dark Tower movie opens in theatres on August 4, 2017.
