Bandai Namco has confirmed that it is working on a new Dark Souls 3 video game. The announcement has given credence to the recently surfaced leaks about the game. The game will be out by early 2016.
The company had only a two-minute-long video trailer showcased during Microsoft's E3 2015 press conference.
It was revealed that Hidetaka Miyazaki would be part of the development. The game will have characteristics of any Dark Souls games, "dark and brooding" and will consist of "beasts, traps and hidden secrets."
The game promises to have variety of locations and deep RPG gameplay, with an "interconnected world."
The trailer features a humongous giant, who might be the most difficult challenge in Dark Souls 3. Players will be able to create bonfires, one has to make sacrifice to enter other games, but there will be a bounty on your head and special moves called sword-fighting arts can be added. The game can be played by 1-4 players.
The game is expected to be rolling out for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
