After the spectacular Season 1, "Daredevil" will be returning to Netflix in early 2016, and from the hints dropped by leading man Charlie Cox, we can expect a premiere somewhere around April. However, considering the pending premieres of upcoming Marvel-based Netflix shows like "Iron Fist" and "Luke Cage", we should be prepared for a postponed date landing in the second half of 2016.
Season 2 will bring a lot of improvements to the already awesome show, along with some new stars like The Punisher aka Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal) and Elektra (Elodie Yung). Fans of the comic books know that Matt Murdock and Elektra used to date in college and their relationship will be delved into in the upcoming season.
These two characters were present in the latest trailer for "Daredevil" Season 2 as well, but there are a few villains and heroes from the Marvel Universe that we would like to see in Hell's Kitchen soon.
Speculations regarding the crossover of the Marvel Universe transcending the boundaries of cinematic and television universes are abuzz and that means we hopefully see a few fan-favourite movie stars in "Daredevil" soon.
Stephen Strange, played by Benedict Cumberbatch in MCU for example, is a likely guest in Hell's Kitchen. Although he was mentioned in the recently-released "Captain America: The Winter Soldier", he will not be a part of the "Civil War". He could, however, make it to Murdock's city and make at least a cameo appearance.
It would be a spectacular move by Marvel, especially if the theories about him leading the New Avengers ring true. In fact, he could also be expected in the other Netflix series like "Luke Cage" as well if he is in fact going to be such a huge part of the new gang of heroes.
