Daniel Radcliffe surely got all the media attention when he doled out some bedroom stories in his recent interview with Playboy. But, the "Harry Potter" star was quick enough to respond when his embarrassing quote about masturbation went viral online.
In his interview with Playboy (via Hollywood Life) in October, Radcliffe was asked if he ever masturbated as a teen while he was shooting for "Harry Potter" and his response indicated he did.
"Yeah, I was like every other teenager in that sense. My favorite line about masturbation is Louis CK.'s, something like, 'I found out about it when I was 11, and I didn't skip a day.' I think I started very early — before my teens. But not when I was on set. I wasn't going, 'When is Alan Rickman going to nail this scene so I can run back to my trailer?," the actor had said.
Though he did clearly mention that he did have his hands full while filming the "Harry Potter" series, the internet went abuzz misinterpreting his quote. But now, the "Victor Frankestein" actor has clarified that he managed to keep work and pleasure poles apart.
"I didn't say I wanked on set. It's frustrating when you tell a story and say, 'Yes, I wanked a lot when I was a teenager,' but clearly I didn't mean on set," the actor clarified.
And while putting an end to all sorts of rumours, Daniel finally winded up saying, "Can you make this clear for me. I was not wanking during the filming of Potter. I managed to restrain myself until I got home."
Well, all you "Harry Potter" fans, just in case you were judging Daniel Radcliffe, then it looks like the actor has set some records straight here.
