Scottish born actor Daniel Portman aka Podrick Payne of "Game Of Thrones" will attend Bangalore Comic Con 2015.
Portman, who plays the role of loyal squire to Tyrion Lannister, will come to Bangalore, India, in April. This is for the first time the organisers of Comic Con Bangalore have invited an international celebrity.
Last year, Mark Gatiss of "Sherlock" series attended the Mumbai Comic Con festival.
During his visit, Portman will talk about his character Podrick and about the "Game Of Thrones" series as well. He will also answer fans questions about "Game Of Thrones" season 5.
"I am very excited to be coming to Bangalore for Bangalore Comic Con in April. I am looking forward to meeting my Indian fans & having a great weekend," Portman said in a statement.
Jatin Varma, founder of Comic Con, said that GOT fans will be in a treat this year. Apart from Portman attending the event, they will also create a replica of the Iron Throne at the special Photo-op Booth.
"We are super excited to have Daniel over at Bangalore! We wanted to give GOT fans in the city something to look forward to, and Daniel's presence is one of the many things we have planned this year," Varma said, according to Press Trust of India.
Bangalore Comic Con 2015 will be held from 3-5 April at White Orchid Convention Centre.
Portman has been a part of the American fantasy drama television series since second season and will be seen in the "Game of Thrones" season 5.
The fifth season of the drama series will air on 13 April.
