Aamir has been undergoing intense training for his role in "Dangal", which is based on the real life of wrestler Mahavir Phogat.
The film tells the story of a wrestler through three stages of his life, as a 19-year-old, a 27-year-old, and as a 55-year-old.
The film will also deal with the wrestler's relation with his daughters Geeta and Babita Kumari Phogat. Fatima Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra have been finalised to essay the roles of the daughters.
While Fatima is a Mumbai-based photographer, who has appeared in a few TV serials and films, Sanya is a Delhi-based trained ballet dancer.
"Dangal", helmed by by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Disney Studio India, is scheduled to release on 23 December, 2016.
However, 2015 seems to be a dull year for the actor's fans as he doesn't have any releases this year.
