Aamir Khan's Dangal has earned over Rs 1,100 crore gross at the China box office in 33 days and its total worldwide collection has moved closer to the mark of Rs 1,900 crore gross.
Despite clashing with new Hollywood and Chinese movies, the Aamir Khan-starrer continued to rock, and collected $9.08 million at the China box office in its fifth weekend. Dangal is also performing well on weekdays and made $1.26 million on its fifth Monday and $1.17 million on Tuesday.
Dangal collected $11.51 million (Rs 74.02 crore gross) at the China box office in five days of its fifth week and its total collection has reached Rs 1,106.25 crore gross in the country in 33 days. Ramesh Bala, an observer of Indian cinema industry, tweeted: "#Dangal crosses ₹ 1,100 Cr Mark in #China Box office.. It took-in $1.17 M today and the total now is $171.67 M [₹ 1,106.25 Crs]."

The Nitesh Tiwari-directed movie has collected a total of Rs 1,106.25 crore gross in China, Rs 38.50 crore gross in Taiwan and Rs 744.50 crore gross in India and other international markets. The total worldwide collection of Dangal has reached Rs 1,889.25 crore gross. Now, only two days are left for the Aamir Khan-starrer to complete its fifth week at the China box office. Its current pace of collection indicates that Dangal is expected to collect Rs 12.86 ($2 million) on its fifth Wednesday and Thursday. The movie is certain to surpass the mark of 1,900 crore gross by the end of its fifth week.
