"Dancing with the Stars" is set to return to television with a brand new season on Sept. 12.
The cast of the dancing reality show is yet to be announced, but that hasn't stopped publications from speculating on the celebrities who will be testing their skills on the dance floor and working towards winning the Mirror Ball Trophy.
According to one report, popular soap star Emma Samms is one person who could be featured in the upcoming season. The actress who played Holly Scorpio on "General Hospital" sparked speculation she will be on "Dancing with the Stars" Season 23 when she tweeted a message, saying: "I have some good news but I can't tell you yet which is annoying. Though probably not as annoying as this tweet. Sorry."
"Dancing with the Stars" host Tom Bergeron reacted to this message and this is what has interested fans. "@EmmaSamms1 You're such a tease!" the longtime host of the dancing show wrote.
I have some good news but I can't tell you yet which is annoying. Though probably not as annoying as this tweet. Sorry.

Meanwhile, "Dancing with the Stars" producers are reportedly trying to rope in several big names that made it in the ongoing Summer Olympics. One name that has been cited by a number of publications is that of swimmer Michael Phelps. Simone Biles is another name that has been mentioned. However, it's too soon to say if they will be a part of the dancing show.
Other rumoured cast members include "The Bachelorette" alum JoJo Fletcher,
"Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice, "The Bachelor New Zealand" star Jordan Mauger, and ESPN's The Coach and former WWE broadcaster/star Jonathan Coachman, according to Celeb Dirty Laundry.
