Yesteryear Bollywood actress Meenakshi Seshadri, who ruled the industry during the 80s with her dancing and acting talent, is set to make a comeback.
The actress, who starred opposite Sunny Deol in the 1990 superhit "Ghayal", will make a special appearance in the sequel titled "Ghayal Once Again" which will also feature Deol.
Reports have been doing the rounds that it was Deol who convinced Meenakshi to do a cameo in the film.
"The makers met Meenakshi's manager a few weeks ago and told him they were keen to sign her for the Ghayal sequel. Then, her favourite co-star, Sunny himself, got into action and convinced her to come onboard. She has given three days for the shoot," Sunil Saini, co-producer of the film, told Mumbai Mirror.
"We really want Meenakshi to be a part of the film. In fact, I just had a positive, long phone call with her. But I wouldn't like to divulge any details at the moment," he added.
The 52-year-old, who has worked in many films, such as "Damini", "Ghatak", "Toofan", will be returning to the silver screen after 19 years. The gorgeous lady quit acting after she tied the knot with investment banker Harish Mysore in 1996 and moved to Texas.
"Ghayal Once Again" will be seen taking off from where the prequel ended and is based on a real-life event of a Mumbai Police encounter specialist. The film will also have Soha Ali Khan, who plays a doctor in the film.
The action flick is being co-produced and directed by Sunny himself and scheduled to be released on 13 November this year.
