There are a few more weeks left for "Dance Moms" Season 6B's premiere. However, the trailers released by Lifetime suggest that Maddie and Mackenzie Ziegler's absence will leave most cast members and dance coach Abby Lee Miller living in tension-filled moments as the search for the next big star continues.
Recently, the network released a 40-second trailer for the upcoming Season 6B of "Dance Moms" and suffice it to say that things will get very catty when the new instalment goes on air. The video clip, which shows kittens with a voice-over by Abby, captures her anger, dismay and disappointment in the Season 6B cast members.
Abby is seen criticising her dancers as they rehearse in the ALDC studio. She says, "Is that a plie? Is that really a grand plie? Do it again." She adds, "Oh my god, what is mentally wrong with you?" To be sure, the other kittens look extremely scared and scurry about the studio as Abby admonishes anyone who tries to display their skill.
Perhaps fans will get to see a team in disarray when Season 6B gets aired. In fact, this theme is evidenced in another trailer as well.
The dance coach, who seems to miss the Zieglers, tells her team that an integral part of ALDC is absent and she later goes on to ask who will take Maddie's place. Although it does seem like the dancers will try their hardest to win Abby's recognition, some moms will find this futile.
Bryn Rumfallo's mother, Ashlee Allen, says in the "Dance Moms" Season 6B trailer, "They proved that they don't need her."
"Dance Moms" Season 6B will be aired on Tuesday, Sept. 6 on Lifetime.
