Although season 6 of "Dance Moms" is yet to premiere, rumours about many cast members have been rife. The reality show on Lifetime is muddled with several problems, including a disagreement between the show's producers and Abby Lee Miller apart from the legal problems that Abby faces. Aside all this, the latest news suggests that dance prodigy, and in some measure, the star of "Dance Moms" Maddie Ziegler, is leaving the show after season 6.
Although her return to "Dance Moms" season 6 delighted many of her fans, her quick exit may leave several shattered. To be sure, her exit doesn't come as a surprise to many. Maddie missed filming for several episodes in season 6.
According to sources, the 13-year-old star has set her eyes on Hollywood. This remains one of the main reasons for her departure from the show.
A source close to Maddie said that the dance prodigy wants to focus on her acting career and has "simply grown out of her role" on "Dance Moms", reported US Weekly.
Maddie's burgeoning acting career has so far won her a lot of fame. The teenager has bagged herself a role in "Book of Henry" and "Sister", a full length feature project by singer Sia.
In the event of Maddie Ziegler' exit, it remains to be seen if Lifetime will renew the show for season 7. It is quite doubtful since dance mentor Abby Lee Miller could face a jail term of up to five years if she is found guilty of fraud.
"Dance Moms" season 6 premieres on Tuesday, 5 January, on Lifetime.
