Zee TV has come up with a unique concept of voting in the on-going dance reality show "Dance India Dance (DID) Super Moms 2".
Starting 3 May, the channel has introduced "Facebook voting" -- the first ever on Indian television --which will allow viewers to register their vote for their favourite contestant by simply updating their facebook status as #supermoms, followed by the contestant code (first three letters of the Super Mom's name).
However, viewers can still continue to vote through SMS and on the official Zee TV website.
Speaking about the innovative concept, Sorbojeet Chatterjee, Marketing Head, Zee TV told Telly Chakkar: "The beauty of this initiative lies in its simplicity. We've taken the biggest social media platform – Facebook, that helps us make our voting mechanism easily accessible to viewers across various demographics, age groups, geographies and across multiple devices."
Back in 2012, Zee TV had introduced the concept of missed call voting and in 2013, viewers were given the option of voting through a Freecharge for every vote.
The top contestants of DID Super Moms 2015 who are competing against each other to win the coveted title are -- Dipashree Chatterjee, Pallavi Patil, Priyanka Rokade, Monika Sharma, Sneha Adapawar, Yasmin Sheikh, Harpreet Khatri, Saumya Shree and Khushboo Sahni.
Judged by Govinda, Geeta Kapoor and Terrence Lewis and hosted by Karan Wahi, "DID Super Moms" airs every Saturdays and Sundays at 9 p.m.
