The lyrical video of 'Damaalu Dumeelu' song from Jayam Ravi's forthcoming Tamil movie, Bogan, has been released on Tuesday, November 29. 'Kolaveri di' hitmaker Anirudh Ravichander has sung the track, for which D Imman has composed the music, while Rokesh has penned the lyrics.
'Damaalu Dumeelu' has high-octane beats and it is high on energy. Anirudh's voice blends well with the tune and Jayam Ravi has danced for the number. The track is a symphony of punch dialogues delivered by popular villains and heroes of Kollywood.
The dialogues of Rajinikanth, Vijay, Dhanush, Ajith, Kamal Haasan and Suriya instantly strike a chord with the viewers. This factor has drawn the attention of the respective fans, who are now giving good word-of-mouth to the song.
Earlier, a teaser of Bogan was released and met with positive reviews. Hansika Motwani plays the female in the movie, in which, Jayam Ravi and Arvind Swami are in the leads, The upcoming flick marks the reunion of the duo, whose combo had worked big time in superhit movie, Thani Oruvan.
Bogan is written and directed by Lakshman of Romeo Juliet fame and produced by Prabhu Deva. The film has Akshara Gowda, Nagendra Prasad, Varun and others in the cast. The film has D Imman's music, Soundararajan's cinematography and Anthony's editing.
It is said to be inspired by John Woo's Hollywood movie Face/Off, a science-fiction starring John Travolta and Nicolas Cage. It is said that the story of Bogan has been modified to suit the tastes of the local audience.
